We might recommend improvements such as adding attic insulation, installing a new AC or heat pump, repairing ductwork, installing a heat pump water heater, caulk and weather strip additions, or converting window units to a central air or heat pump system. If all recommended work is completed at the same time, you might qualify to receive a Home Performance with Energy Star certificate as well as a standard rebate averaging 20% or up to $1,600 per system.
- Austin Energy Powersaver™ Rebate Program: If your current AC or heat pump is over 10 years old, or isn’t functioning as well as it used to, it might be time for an upgrade. Luckily, Austin offers a rebate program if you choose to install an energy-efficient system. Our team will help you choose a new system that not only fits the capacity needs of your space but also meets the efficiency guidelines to qualify for the Power Saver rebate.
