It's Warming up In Austin Texas!

Here at Precision Heating & Air conditioning headquarters, we are preparing for the summer rush! We are hiring more staff to serve our awesome Austin clientele, and we are expanding our office to make room for our growth spurt! These next few months are definitely our busiest time of the year, because unfortunately AC manufacturers have yet to make an air conditioner that can stand up to the Texas heat.  We have a lot of calls come in requesting an air conditioner repair. AC repairs are our specialty, but there are steps you can take to try and avoid those sticky and sweaty situations!  HVAC manufacturers recommend routine preventative maintenance to prevent the need for an air conditioning repair.  Precision Heating & Air conditioning offers a yearlong preventative maintenance agreement that is very affordable, can save you a lot of money, and prevent future air conditioning repairs!  Our AC repair technicians are trained to look for those parts that are starting to wear. Some of the most common summer air conditioning repairs are a bad capacitor, bad contactor, and a condenser fan motor that is starting to fail.  Some steps that you can take to extend the life of your air conditioner condenser are to keep debris, grass and weeds cleared away from the condensing unit. Also, those pesky fire ants that are always looking for a cool place to hide, LOVE to take over your contactor.  So placing fire ant killer around the condensing unit is always a good idea.  Give Precision Heating and Air Conditioning a call if you need an AC repair, or to have a preventative maintenance check performed. We try to have those AC system checks done before the end of April, so there is still plenty of time!

Precision Heating & Air Conditioning was presented with a huge honor on Friday evening March 10, 2012.  At the Robert Madden – Carrier dealer meeting we were awarded the “Growth Leader Award” for the year of 2011.  This was a huge surprise and a great honor for our small family owned and operated company; we are growing faster than we ever could have imagined.  Our success is only because of the great families and businesses around us that support local business and choose to use Precision for any heating and cooling repairs or replacements.  We want to send our gratitude and many thanks to all of our loyal customers. We wouldn't be where we are today without your support! After only a year and a half in this location, we are already busting at the seams. In April we are excited to start renovations as we take over the office space next to us and combine the two suites, giving us double the room.  Austin has provided us a great start to what we know will be a successful endeavor.  Thank you to all of our customers, we sincerely appreciate your business and the lifelong friendships we are establishing together!
